GreenState Credit Union & Members Contribute Over $89,000 to Local Schools Through Give & Grow Program
GreenState Credit Union, along with its members, contributed over $89,000 back to local school foundations through their Give & Grow School Match during the month of April. This initiative allows credit union members to donate to a partner school foundation, with GreenState matching their gift up to $500 per household.
This year, 18 schools throughout Iowa and Illinois benefited from this funding, demonstrating the credit union's commitment to supporting education in the communities it serves.
“This is a fantastic collaboration between GreenState and area schools. The generosity of our members has once again made this program a success,” said Vic Israni, GreenState President/CEO.
The Give & Grow School Match not only empowers members to make a direct impact on local education but also fosters a sense of community and collaboration among families, educators, and the credit union. GreenState remains dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and ensuring that local schools have the resources they need to thrive.
