Where and When to Apply for a Loan

Whether you're a first time buyer looking for advice or a seasoned pro ready to sign and drive, our professionals at GreenState are ready to help. Choose an option that's best for you!

Option 1 - Apply for Pre-Approval at a GreenState Branch

Applying for pre-approval for an auto loan is a great choice, especially if you're still shopping around and haven't settled on a particular car yet. With a pre-approval you'll have a budget and terms taken care of which means you can talk about a car's price rather than monthly payments and financing.

Option 2 - Find a Car, Visit a GreenState Branch for a Loan

If you've got a specific car picked out you can visit any GreenState branch to apply for an auto loan from a friendly GreenState team member.

Option 3 - Take care of it all at the dealership

Many auto dealers in Iowa have partnered with GreenState and can take care of the loan paperwork for GreenState members at the dealership! Ask your dealer if they're a GreenState partner or call 800-397-3790 to find out about dealer partners near you.

Additional Protection

GAP Insurance

GAP insurance helps protect you if you suffer a total loss of your vehicle and the insurance payout is less than the amount owed on your loan, it covers that 'gap'. GreenState offers GAP insurance on most loans; usually at a much better price than you'll get at a dealership or insurance company.

PayBreak Debt Protection

Getting any loan can be a bit of a financial gamble because things happen...life happens. PayBreak Debt Protection 3 is a voluntary loan-payment protection product that helps you get relief from the burden of delinquency or default if a protected life event happens. Protected events include: loss of life, disability or involuntary unemployment. Call (800) 397-3790 and ask about protecting your loans, today.

Extended Service Warranty

Most new and used vehicles financed with GreenState can have an Extended Service Warranty added to the loans cost. The warranty program has various tiers available that cover different parts and types of breakage. An Extended Service Warranty is a great way to help soften the blow of a broken down vehicle and get you back on the road in no time.

Purchase of additional protection products (GAP Insurance, PayBreak Debt Protection, Extended Service Warranty) is optional and will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any credit agreement required to obtain a loan.
