Jim Wachendorf is an LPL Financial Advisor for GreenState Wealth Management.
Prior to joining GreenState, Jim was the President and CEO of MidAmerica Securities for 20 years. Jim’s firm provided financial planning services for over 300 households. Before starting his own financial services company, Jim was employed as a Registered Representative for RBC Dain. While working at RBC Dain, Jim completed his CFP® certification qualification. Jim has been in the financial services industry for more than 40 years. He also served as an officer for four years in the Air Force prior to entering the financial services business.
Jim earned a BBA Degree from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Central Michigan University.
He resides with his wife Lisa in Iowa City, Iowa.
Jim currently holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 8, 24, 53, & 63 registrations through LPL Financial.
