Set up free text 1 and email alerts
Customizable alerts keep you in the know. You can set alerts that notify you when balances are low, when transactions above a minimum threshold occur, or when there’s a suspicious transaction on your card.

Keep funds in savings to cover overdrafts
Avoid fees by keeping sufficient funds in savings to cover overdrafts. To learn more, ask us about this plan by calling (800) 397-3790 or by visiting any branch location. ($5 transfer fee instead of an overdraft fee. Funds transfer in $100 increments from a linked account to cover overdraft transactions.)

Use GreenState owned ATMs or those that are part of the CO-OP ATM Network. Access your money with ease at 30,000+ surcharge free ATMs nationwide.
Try to limit out of network ATM usage
If you’re not able to find a free ATM try to reduce the number of small cash withdrawals you make. If you only need a small amount of cash, many grocery stores and gas stations offer cash back on debit purchases with no extra fee.

Use Bill Payer to save on time and postage
Our free online Bill Payer lets you pay many bills electronically and can even put a check in the mail when electronic payments aren’t an option. Bill Payer is available in Online Banking for GreenState members with any of our checking accounts.
